Step 1; The template has a door edge line dotted across it shown in RED and it should be folded along this line. This corner will act as a guide for positioning the bolt & the control unit as well as clearly marking the point that will require drilling.
	Step 2; Position the template on the door so that the bolt itself is in the desired position. Using self adhesive tape now fix the template to the door so that it cannot move.

Step 3;
Once the template has been checked for interference you can decide where to mount the electronic control unit. The positions are marked as ‘A’ and ‘B’ on the template.
When you have decided which side the unit will be mounted, you can then start the drilling process using the 2mm diameter drill to pilot all of the necessary holes.
